Balance

I am getting settled in Ca. Was suprised by the fires. I have heard about the fires but have never experienced them. Makes living on the edge even more fragile. Balance. My goal in Life is balance.

It is a bright Monday morning in firey California. The winds have died down a bit so I hope they can get the fires under control.

I ordered a new scanner and hope to get today or tomorrow. Woo hoo
It has been a long time since I have shown new work.

I had to buy a new sewing machine also. The deadline for my book Connecting Thread with Northlight Books is coming up close. I have about two months to complete thirty projects. I am trying to stay calm and work steady. I have spent most of my time drawing sketches of what I want to create. It is kind of funny, that is how I work when creating costumes. I never sketch when I am just creating.
